09:00 < AlexBand> Hi everyone, I'm Alex Band from the RIPE NCC. If you have questions/comments for the presenter and want me to read it out, please state your name/affiliation and I'll go to the mic when questions are called for. Keep in mind that there is a 30 second delay for remote participants, so it's better to get your questions in before the question period begins. Please note that all chat transcripts will be archived and made available.
09:12 < GPF> AlexBand: good morning. Did you draw the short straw too? πŸ™‚
09:13 < AlexBand> GPF it could have been worse πŸ˜‰
09:14 < JanG-3342> AlexBand: Could you ask him to respect the personal sphere of the microphone?
09:14 < AlexBand> JanG-3342 his P's are quite hard indeed
09:15 < GPF> Yeah I was thinking that perhaps RIPE should try to get some pop filters for the mikes πŸ™‚
09:15 < job> let's focus on his content
09:15 < rhe-786> Ops have already asked him once to hang back from the mic, probably doesn't realise he is doing it.
09:16 < AlexBand> imPortant
09:20 < AlexBand> great app icons
09:23 < marco_DENIC> AlexBand: Marco Prause, I'm with DENIC: I'd like to ask, how do you connect to your devices with napalm ? Are you using netconf over ssh, paramiko or something else ? And my 2nd question : if you use paramiko, did you also recognise performace issues in conjunction with large answers like for example : bgp-full-feed table dump ? And last but not least : thanks for napalm-salt and the execution modules.
09:23 < JanG-3342> job: It's just rather distracting from an otherwise very interesting talk. To be honest, I probably do the same because it's very seldom I give presentations.
09:30 < AlexBand> I'll read out your question
